Bulgari to Open a Hotel in Russia
28 Sep 2016
Bulgari, an Italian jewelry brand and watchmaker, plans to open a luxury hotel in Russia. Bulgari does not disclose details of the project but a source, close to the talks, did not rule out that the operator would select one of the buildings in the center of the capital — in Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street.
Currently, there are three Bulgari hotels: in Milan, London and on Bali. The company plans to open hotels in Shanghai, Beijing and Dubai in 2017. All three hotels are marketed as resorts; it is emphasized that they are located close to shopping streets, where you can find such brands as Cartier, Gucci, Tiffany & co., Hermes, Louis Vuitton, etc. There are 58 rooms at the hotel in Milan, 59 — on Bali, 85 — in London.
Lobbies of the hotels feature grey granite, all rooms are decorated with recognizable details, such as drawings on textile, replicating the one on Bulgari brooches of the 19th century.
All hotels are run by an international hotel operator Marriott International, which also manages Renaissance Hotels, Marriott Courtyard, The Ritz-Carlton.
