Tour to a Winter Tale

18 Dec 2015

1 or 2-days tour to a natural wonder – Ruskeala Marble Canyon in Karelia, located just several hours away from St. Petersburg.

Ruskeala Marble Canyon is literaly the birthplace of some St. Petersburg palaces and cathedrals – the stones from Ruskeala marble quarries were used in their construction. Since then the place became a natural set for famous Russian movies as well as an ecological tourism sight. it is also one of the best places for an incentive program that could be a nice addition to a trip to St. Petersburg.

Park Inn by Radisson Petrozavodsk will confortably accommodate the group and English speaking guides will show you to the most beautiful places of Karelia, including waterfalls, canyons and frozen caves. At night the canyon is illuminated with various colors making the impression of a fairy land inhabited by mythic creatures. You can mix up your trip with a tour on a husky sledge or a snowmobile and try a cooking class of traditional Karelian meal. And if you are lucky you will witness a polar light!
